A captain's notes on business, family, and what really matters – reflections from the journey

🔶 PART I: MISTAKES THAT BUILT ME

They say experience is the best teacher. The problem? It usually comes late – and costs a lot.

🟡 I took a bank loan to save a dying business in 2010
I believed I could turn it around. I couldn’t. The business collapsed, but the debt remained. That day, I learned: never borrow money to rescue something that's already drowning. You can’t pay your bills with products or your time – only cash.

🟡 I was too confident.
"I know what I’m doing" – those words made me stop listening. Including to Monika(wife). Today I know: humility is the beginning of wisdom.

🟡 I started reading too late.
Business books are powerful. I could’ve saved years of mistakes if I had picked them up earlier. But better late than never.

🟡 I gave too much, too early.
Nice cars, big salaries, thinking that culture and generosity would magically create loyalty. It didn’t. I learned: first results, then rewards. Motivation can’t be gifted – it has to be mutual.
I gave before people had proven anything.

But today? Yes – we still have great salaries, great perks, real benefits. But only for those who’ve proven their value.
Our team has walked through fire. They deliver.
And I’m proud to say: I kept my promise.
We’re small, but we trust each other. We grow together – and that’s the only way it works.

🟡 I built high overheads – twice.
First business? Too much fixed cost and moreover - too much loans. Then again with the first version of Flexhouse, better but still not as it should have been done. Only the third time – today's Flexhouse – did I get it nearly right: lean structure, real clients, steady growth. Profit matters. Revenue doesn’t.

🔶 PART II: THE VALUES THAT GUIDE ME

I keep a personal compass. A list of beliefs I live by – in business, and in life:

🟡 Love. Without it, nothing makes sense.
🟡 Family. Your castle. Your mission.
🟡 Time. Most precious currency – use it wisely.
🟡 Focus. Cut the noise. Simplify.
🟡 Positive energy. Don't waste time on anger or small minds.
🟡 Stay calm. Panic is a virus.
🟡 Be curious, not jealous.
🟡 Brain. Your most powerful tool.
🟡 Worth. Never forget your value.
🟡 Street smarts. Life isn’t a fairytale. Make your own world.
🟡 Surroundings. Choose people better than you. Hire them and learn from them.
🟡 Act with class. Be the kind of person you’d admire.
🟡 Courage. Fear is natural – fight it.
🟡 Growth. Read. Learn. Practice.
🟡 Body. Take care of it. It's your temple.
🟡 Practice. The road to mastery is outside your comfort zone.
🟡 Travel. The world is bigger than your neighborhood.
🟡 Think big. You are a creature of the universe. Find your personal mantra.
🟡 Money. It’s important. Period.
🟡 Independence. Be able to walk alone through the world.
🟡 Creativity. Stay open. Try new things.
🟡 Languages. They expand your world.
🟡 Law. Respect it – but don’t be naive.
🟡 Kids. Best thing that can happen to you.
🟡 Problems. Solve them. Or you’re the problem.
🟡 Never complain. Act.
🟡 Authenticity. Keep your word. Live your truth. Hold your head high.
🟡 Captain. You are not a passenger. You are the captain of your ship.
🟡 Financial freedom. I’m not there yet. But I’m on my way.

Success. Real success is quiet. That’s something I’ve not yet mastered – but I’m working on it every day.

🔶 PART III: WHAT I’VE LEARNED IN 2025

🟡 I’ve learned humility. But a little more won’t hurt.
🟡 I trust the process more. I’ve slowed down – and it works.
🟡 I’m more patient – especially with people.
🟡 And most of all: authenticity is everything. Without it, nothing lasts.

🟡 Time with my kids.
For me – it’s the Conjuction Project. ( SI-FI book )
Moments with my son. Not for money. Just for presence.
That’s the most important thing right now.
I plan my days so my family is happy – and when they are, I am.

🟡 Helping others.
For the last 2–3 years, I’ve supported a local elementary school – with time, donations, materials, energy.
It brings real joy.
It’s not about money. It’s about showing up for others. No posts, no commercials, no names or certifications.
And I honestly recommend it to anyone.

🟡 I speak less. Listen more.
I’ve always had a voice. Now I use my ears.
Everyone has something to teach you – if you let them.

Notatki kapitana o biznesie, rodzinie i tym, co naprawdę się liczy – refleksje z podróży

Ja, świadomość wszechświata, z radością wyrażam swój nieograniczony potencjał.
(Tak zaczynam poranną medytację lub power yogę każdego poranka)

🔶 Część I: Błędy, które mnie zbudowały

Mówią, że najlepszym nauczycielem jest doświadczenie. Niestety – często przychodzi późno, a kosztuje dużo.

🟡 Wziąłem kredyt na ratowanie tonącego biznesu w 2010 roku.
Chciałem pomóc, wierzyłem w ludzi, w produkt. Ale nie miałem twardych danych, tylko emocje. Biznes upadł, długi zostały. Nigdy więcej. Nie ratujesz tonącego statku pieniędzmi z banku.

🟡 Byłem zbyt pewny siebie.
„Wiem, co robię” – ta fraza zamknęła mi uszy na rady Moniki ( żony ) i innych. Dziś wiem, że pokora to początek mądrości.

🟡 Zacząłem czytać za późno.
Biznesowe książki zmieniają perspektywę. Gdybym zaczął wcześniej… Ale nadrabiam.

🟡 Dawałem za dużo, zbyt wcześnie.
Auta, pensje, atmosfera. Chciałem kultury lojalności. Ale to nie działa. Najpierw rezultat, potem nagroda.
Wtedy dawałem, zanim ktoś cokolwiek pokazał.

Dziś? Tak – mamy dobre wynagrodzenia, fajne auta.
Ale tylko dla tych, którzy dowiedli swojej wartości.
Mam zespół, który przeszedł przez ogień. Który dowozi.
I jestem dumny: dotrzymałem słowa.
Zespół jest mały, ale ufamy sobie. I rośniemy razem.

🟡 Stworzyłem za duże koszty stałe – dwa razy.
Pierwszy biznes, a w w nim również kredyty, potem pierwsza wersja Flexhouse, już bez kredytów, ale wciąż nie to. Dopiero teraz, jeszcze nie ideał, ale już znacznie lepiej – optymalna struktura, stabilni klienci, zysk. Nie przychód. 

🔶 Część II: Wartości, które mnie prowadzą

Mam własny kompas. Lista zasad, według których żyję:

🟡 Miłość. Bez niej wszystko traci sens.
🟡 Rodzina. Twój dom, twoja radość.
🟡 Czas. Najcenniejszy zasób.
🟡 Skupienie. Wyrzucaj to, co zbędne.
🟡 Pozytywna energia. Nie trać czasu na złość.
🟡 Spokój. Panika to wirus.
🟡 Ciekawość, nie zazdrość.
🟡 Mózg. Twoje najpotężniejsze narzędzie. Dbaj o niego.
🟡 Wartość. Nie zapominaj, kim jesteś.
🟡 Inteligencja uliczna. Świat to nie bajka.
🟡 Otoczenie. Przebywaj z lepszymi od siebie. Zatrudniaj ich i ucz się od nich.
🟡 Działaj z klasą. Bądź takim człowiekiem, jakiego sam chciałbyś spotkać na swojej drodze.
🟡 Odwaga. Strach trzeba pokonać.
🟡 Rozwój. Czytaj. Ucz się. Ćwicz.
🟡 Ciało. Dbaj o nie. To twoja świątynia.
🟡 Praktyka. Rozwój jest poza strefą komfortu.
🟡 Podróże. Świat jest większy niż twoja dzielnica.
🟡 Myśl szeroko. Jesteś istotą wszechświata.
🟡 Pieniądze. Są ważne.
🟡 Samodzielność. Musisz umieć poradzić sobie wszędzie.
🟡 Kreatywność. Próbuj. Myśl. Twórz. Poczuj swobodę życia. 
🟡 Języki. Poszerzają świat.
🟡 Prawo. Znaj zasady – ale nie bądź naiwny.
🟡 Dzieci. Najpiękniejsze, co może ci się przydarzyć.
🟡 Problemy. Rozwiązuj je.
🟡 Nie narzekaj. Działaj.
🟡 Autentyczność. Mów prawdę.
🟡 Kapitan. Nie jesteś pasażerem. Sterujesz.
🟡 Wolność finansowa. Jeszcze tam nie dotarłem – ale jestem w drodze.

Sukces. Prawdziwy sukces jest cichy. Tego jeszcze nie opanowałem – ale codziennie nad tym pracuję.

🔶 Część III: Rok 2025 – co dopisałbym dziś?

🟡 Pokorę już mam. Ale trochę więcej nie zaszkodzi.
🟡 Wierzę w proces. Zwolniłem – i to działa.
🟡 Cierpliwość do ludzi.
🟡 Autentyczność. Bez niej nic nie przetrwa.

🟡 Czas z dziećmi.
Dla mnie – to projekt Koniunkcja. ( Książka SI-FI )
Czas z synem. Nie dla efektu. Dla bycia.
Dziś planuję dni tak, żeby moja rodzina była szczęśliwa. Wtedy ja też jestem.

🟡 Pomaganie.
Od 2–3 lat wspieram szkołę podstawową. Finansowo, materiałowo, organizacyjnie.
To daje prawdziwą radość. Bez postów, bez reklam, bez nazwisk i certyfikatów.
Polecam każdemu.

🟡 Mówię mniej. Słucham więcej.
Zawsze miałem głos. Teraz używam uszu.
Każdy może ci coś dać – jeśli mu pozwolisz.

Wiem, że praca, którą wykonuję, jest po coś i ma realne przełożenie w rzeczywistości.

Czasem słuchanie to nie tylko reagowanie na uwagi.
To przyjęcie czyjejś prawdy – i pozwolenie jej, by zmieniła sposób, w jaki prowadzisz.

🟡 Nie kłamię.
Odwaga to spojrzeć prawdzie w oczy.
W życiu. W biznesie. Zawsze.
